Kick starting the first of many vendor interviews we’ll be featuring regularly on our blog, we’re excited to introduce you to Caitlyn, the creative director behind Sunday Lane – a studio specialising in paper, prints and dreamy words of inspiration and encouragement.

We're huge fans of her work and instagram feed which we highly recommend you follow.

Beautiful branding by Sunday Lane on our deckle edge cotton rag paper.

Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do?
I'm Caitlyn, the Owner & Creative Director behind Sunday Lane Studio. Our studio specialises in paper, prints and dreamy words of inspiration and encouragement. We're known mostly for our Zodiac Women but are growing our brand as we design and create an entire collection of curated gifts.

How long have you been a designer?
I actually studied Interior Design at University and had been doing graphic design work for family and friends for years but I only launched Sunday Lane last September and started full time at the beginning of this year.

How would you describe your style?
Quite dreamy, very soft and romantic. We love to use a lot of texture, in our images, stock we work with, our packaging and branding. It's a really big part of our style.

Do you have a favourite design or stationery suite and why?
We love matte gold foil which is what we've decided to use on the divine handmade paper for our jewellery. It turned out beautifully and it definitely feels extra special.

How do brides go about ordering your services?
I've actually used the gorgeous Feathers and Stone paper for my personal branding and as a part of the packing for the new collection of jewellery we're launching before Christmas.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What colour would you be & why?
Beige, which may sound incredibly boring but it's actually a go to colour for everything we do. It's timeless and beautiful.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
The chocolate Bueno's... I may or may not have driven to the shops just to buy one.

What advice would you give your 16 year old self?
All your hard work will pay off eventually girlfriend, you should be so damn proud of where you are now! You literally wouldn't believe me if I told you. You might have changed jobs a million times but you worked your ass off at all of them and now you are your own boss.

What is your hidden talent?
I don't like to admit that I'm actually a huge musical nerd and had a lead role in the musical at school... haha! I definitely love to go and see a performance as often as I can, not so much participate these days.
