Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do?
I’m Gypsy West from The Vase Flora & Foliage & Co-founder of The Lovers Elopement Co and I am the creator of the floral magic for our lucky couples.
How long have you been a florist?
I’m a self taught creative, who has been lucky enough to have the support from other amazing floral friends who have shown and shared their tricks along the way. I am just about to head into my second full-time season as a wedding florist. Though have dabbled for about 7 years doing weekly corporates and weddings.

How would you describe your style?
Unique, wild and a lover of dried florals.
Do you have a favourite flower or floral combination and why?
Oh this is a hard question…I love them all and I just love mixing the mediums of dried & fresh.
How do brides go about ordering your services, (what’s the process, how much time should they allow etc)?
Send me an email, tell me what your vision is and most importantly your wedding date! So many people forget this crucial piece of information. I’m generally booked 12 months out and I’d recommend locking in your vendors asap, even if you haven’t decided on what you are after. Oh and share your budget, this helps so much.
Any advice on choosing flowers/floral arrangements for couples getting married?
Choose a style of florals that resonates with who you are as a couple and most importantly choose your florist for their style.
You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
I’d be Feathers & Stone’s Khaki green silk ribbon colour! To look at that colour it takes me to the forest where beech trees grow and the forest floor is soft with moss. Childhood memories are evoked and green has always been a favourite colour.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
